Neda ignis color

I know I didn't do the make-your-own-wand homework, but hey, you see the wand up there.


Neda carefully placed the unlit candle on the desk and stood back. She remembered the gimmicks.
'Swish to the left, circle it two times and point at target.' She reviewed once again mentally. Just to make sure she got it right, she practised with a chopstick in the cafeteria at dinner. Ignoring the fact that other students were staring, of course.
"Here goes nothing," she declared after taking a deep breath.

A spark generated at the tip of her thin wand, igniting a blazing flame, rushing towards the head of the candle.
It charged and lit the white candle, but it didn't stop there like she wanted it to. She generated a flame too strong.
It rushed in the same direction, on and on, until it hit the copy of the latest edition of Book Of Spells for young wizards-right on page 218.

The dark fairy stared in horror as the book's crisp, white pages slowly decayed to a brown, sizzling burnt pile of ash. Scent of scorched parchment ran through the air of her dorm. Her delicate wand slipped from her fingers and crashed to the marble tiles.
